The role of United Russia in the deportation and Russification of Ukrainian minors

Russian aggression has trapped Ukrainian minors in the occupied territories in a trap with no way out. In order to erase Ukrainian identity, the Russian state has methodically and obsessively incorporated these minors into the Russian nation through their naturalization, their educational and "patriotic" "re-education," their militarization, and their adoption.

United Russia participated in the planning and implementation of each of the following actions:

• Transfer to the Russian Federation or other occupied regions

from Ukraine,

• Granting of Russian nationality to children and/or their ascendants,

• Russification and indoctrination in schools and extracurricular activities,

• Enrollment in patriotic or military-patriotic events, movements and organizations,

• Placement/adoption in Russian families…

The organization that the party helped to establish is based on:

• Planning at RU headquarters, in conjunction with the presidential administration and ministries,

• Regional coordination by UK parliamentarians on mission in the

occupied territories,

• Local relay in the territories occupied by “humanitarian missions” (read below)

• Local relay in the regions of Russia by the governors and their administration, with the help of “humanitarian missions” from RU.

• Monitoring by various Duma committees, the presidential administration, as well as the “Special Military Operation Working Group” (CBO) which directly informs Putin.

The “humanitarian” alibi

Many of these actions were carried out under the guise of “humanitarianism,” carefully planned, implemented, and maintained. The sheltering outside combat zones, the need for medical care, or the temporary sending of children to “holiday camps” are almost systematically fraudulently invoked in an attempt to conceal the forced nature of the transfers of minors and their subsequent Russification. Volunteers from the Young Guard of United Russia (YGRU), ONF-Youth (ONF-J), and RU Volunteers are the linchpins of these missions, and these three organizations are associated under the acronym #WeTogether (#Мывместе). These “humanitarian missions” of RU in occupied territory and its “humanitarian headquarters” allow the crimes in which RU members themselves boast of participating to be disguised as generous acts.
